Loma Linda University's Doctor of Social Work (DSW) in Clinical Leadership is a fully online, practice-focused doctorate designed for experienced MSW professionals ready to lead. Delivered through a three-year cohort model with no residency requirement, the program prepares scholar-practitioners to strengthen behavioral health systems, advance clinical innovation, and promote equitable, compassionate care across organizations and communities. Rather than a traditional dissertation, students complete a practice-based doctoral project that addresses real-world clinical or system-level challenges, making the degree as applicable as it is rigorous. Grounded in the core values of the social work profession and Loma Linda University's whole person care mission, graduates go on to serve as clinical leaders, administrators, program directors, supervisors, consultants, and faculty across behavioral health, healthcare, and public sector settings.
