Food Insecurity, Parental Self-Efficacy, and Pediatric Type 1 Diabetes Outcomes

The aim of the study is to examine the prevalence and impact of food insecurity among patients admitted to a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for diabetic ketoacidosis. The relations among food insecurity, parental self-efficacy for their child's diet and exercise behaviors, and diabetes outcomes are examined.
