This year, we are thrilled to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Master of Social Work (MSW) program at Loma Linda University. I am honored to take this time to reflect on the incredible journey we've shared, the knowledge we've advanced, and the lasting impact we've had on the lives of students and communities alike.
Since the enrollment of our first class in 1994, our MSW program has been committed to fostering academic and clinical rigor, nurturing critical thinking, and preparing our graduates to become leaders in professional social work. Over the past three decades, we've seen generations of professional social workers graduate from our university, each carrying forward the legacy of excellence that defines our profession and MSW program.
We are deeply proud of the achievements of our students, faculty, and alumni—each of whom has contributed to the growth and success of our MSW program. Whether through community and global engagement, professional accomplishments, or advances in clinical services, you have all played a vital role in shaping the future of professional social work practice.
As we look ahead, we remain dedicated to evolving and adapting our MSW program to meet future challenges and opportunities. We are excited to continue building on our tradition of excellence and to create new opportunities for collaboration, growth, and discovery.
Thank you for being a part of this remarkable journey. We invite you to join us in celebrating this milestone, reconnect with faculty and alumni, and continue to engage with the Loma Linda University MSW community as we move forward into the next 30 years of success.
With gratitude and anticipation for the future,
