Valerie Watts (Clinical Psychology PsyD candidate, pictured below) has been selected to receive both the 2023 SBH President's Award at the School of Behavioral Health Conferring of Degrees and the SBH Research Excellence Award at the Town and Gown doctoral hooding ceremony. The President's Award is the highest award presented to a graduating student. The Research Excellence Award is for students who have made outstanding research contributions during their training. Valerie completed her research in Dr. Bridgette Peteet's Resilience and Disparities (RAD) Lab.
Paige Brown (Clinical Psychology PsyD candidate, pictured below) is also slated to receive the Research Excellence Award at the Town and Gown ceremony. Paige has been an instrumental figure in the aforementioned RAD Lab as well as conducting research with Dr. Tori Van Dyk.
